Late in September, Kristina Leko, the author of Cheese and Cream held a speech about milkmaids, eco-feminism and biodiversity at the art festival Citizen Art Days in Berlin. She also showed the audience a few sequences from her documentary film produced by Factum. Cheese and Cream is a film essay about Zagreb’s milkmaids and profound crises of political will and national identity between 2002 and 2006. The film premiered at ZagrebDox 2013.
