The documentary film 'Vastation' by Domagoj Matizović and Igor Zelić was selected for the programme of the short film marathon marking the shortest day in the year across the world and in 23 Croatian cities and towns.
The film Vastation, directed by Domagoj Matizović and Igor Zelić and produced by Factum, will be shown in the programme of The Shortest Day 21/12 – The First Short Film Marathon, taking place on 21 December 2013 in 25 independent cinemas in 23 Croatian towns and cities.
Vastation is a portrayal of the issue of white plague (depopulation) on the example of a village in Slavonia which become symptomatic of the state of the nation, and it is scheduled for the section of the four stellar years of Croatian documentary film.
