This multiply-awarded intimate war story of filmmaker Silvestar Kolbas will be competing for the most important European TV award!
Silvestar Kolbas's documentary film War Reporter has been shortlisted for the final round of nominations for the most important European television award – Prix Europa (in the Best TV Documentary category).
Prix Europa – European Broadcasting Festival awards the best European TV, radio and online productions in order to promote them in Europe and support their distribution across the continent. War Reporter is one of the films that have been shortlisted for Prix Europa award out of 640 submissions from 38 European countries. The awards will be presented in Berlin on 26 October.
Kolbas's documentary, produced by Factum, is an intimate war story about the 1991 aggression on Croatia. So far, the film has won the following awards and recognitions: Oktavijan Award for Best Documentary Film, Best Editing Award at the Days of Croatian Film, Best Visual Identity Award at Bar TV Fest, Annual Vladimir Nazor Award for Film and Special Mention of Jury at the International Documentary and Short Film Festival in Ismailia.
