'Passage for Stella' and 'Happily Ever After' in 12th Liburnia Film Festival Competition

The documentary films Passage for Stella by Ljiljana Šišmanović and Happily Ever After by Tatjana Božić have been selected for the main competition of Liburnia Film Festival, whose 12th edition takes place 26-30 August at the Ičići port.

Passage for Stella
is a film about a little girl whose personal world is limited by illness and handicap, but also by her neighbours’ self-centredness and ruthlessness. The film was written and directed by Ljiljana Šišmanović, the author of acclaimed documentary titles Half-sister (2006) and The Mark of Cain (2010, co-directed by Tihana Kopsa).

Happily Ever After
is a humorous and ruthless portrayal of director Tatjana Božić’s life. The film had its world premiere in January 2014 at the Rotterdam International Film festival, and in August, aside from Liburnia, it is screened at Sarajevo Film Festival.
