We bring you a photo from the premiere screening at the port of Ičići, and an excellent review written by Hrvoje Krstičević on the Dokumentarni.net website.
Ljiljana Šišmanović’s documentary film premiered in the competition of the 12th Liburnia Film festival, taking place at the Ičići port 26-30 August 2014.
Passage for Stella is a film about a little girl whose personal world is limited by illness and disability, but also by the callousness and mercilessness of her neighbours. The film was written and directed by Ljiljana Šišmanović, the author of acclaimed documentaries Half-sister (2006) and The Mark of Cain (2010, co-directed by Tihana Kopsa).
Passage for Stella is food for thought and a tribute to all the weary and poor, as well as their fellow warriors. A must see, says Krstičević in his review published on the Dokumentarni.net website.
