The film in which director Tatjana Božić humorously approaches her emotional failures has been shortlisted for the Dutch award The Golden Calf in the feature documentary category.
Tatjana Božić’s Happily Ever After is nominated for the Dutch award The Golden Calf in the feature-length documentary category. Another two documentary films are nominated – Ne me quitte pas by Niels van Koevorden and Sabine Lubbe Bakker (screened at ZagrebDox 2014) and Sexy Money by Karin Junger.
Happily Ever After is a humorous and ruthless portrayal of the director’s love life. The film premiered early this year at the International Rotterdam Film Festival, and afterwards at ZagrebDox and Sarajevo Film Festival. At Liburnia Film Festival this year it won best directing and best editing awards.
The Golden Calf is the award presented by the prestigious Netherlands Film Festival in Utrecht since 1981.
The award ceremony takes place on 3 October, at the closing of the Netherlands Film Festival.
