Lana Šarić’s documentary film was shown in April in Dubrovnik at a congress promoting partnership between scientists and artists in the field of medical sciences.
The film Category: Optimist, directed by Lana Šarić, was screened in Dubrovnik at the 1st international congress Person in Medicine and Healthcare – Science and Art. The congress focused on the promotion of health culture through collaboration and partnership between professionals from the field of science and artists, as well as strengthening the role of art in medicine and health.
In the film Category: Optimist Lana Šarić applied a humanly brave and artistically mature approach to her own illness and its consequences, making a unique film of captivating optimism even in the most difficult of situations. Late in September last year, Category: Optimist was screened in Zagreb, celebrating the International Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia Awareness Day.
