In addition to its many awards at national festivals, the multi award-winning film debut by Pero Kvesić, Dum Spiro Spero, has won its first international honour – the best documentary film award at the international medium-length film festival La Cabina in Spain.
In his debut film, this renowned writer, journalist and editor speaks about losing strength and the power to cope with the loss. Everybody dies the moment they are born, which is the most important reason to understand the values of life and enjoy the pleasures of it while it lasts.
After its international premiere in October at DOK Leipzig, Dum Spiro Spero has won the best documentary film award at La Cabina, medium-length film festival in Spain.
After Spain, Pero Kvesić’s Dum Spiro Spero and Katarina Zrinka Matijević’s A Two-Way Mirror will have their Italian premiere late in November, both in competition of the 57th Festival dei Popoli.
