DUM SPIRO SPERO WINS DANDELION AWARD FOR BEST DOCUMENTARY FILM IN REGIONAL COMPETITION AT 8TH UNDERHILL FEST IN PODGORICA!

The film by the famous writer, editor and director Pero Kvesić, Dum Spiro Spero, won the Dandelion Award in regional competition at the 8th Underhill Fest in Podgorica, Montenegro

"Using film essay aesthetics, Kvesić absolutely unpretentiously approaches the subject of life and death, liberated from all vanity regarding himself and others, very subtly and humorously putting the viewer in the protagonist's position. The author never leaves us indifferent, but rather motivates us to think about the issues subconsciously avoided in everyday life, however, with optimism and hope until the last breath," says the jury statement.

With its seventh award for best documentary film, Dum Spiro Spero continues its festival success story: Croatian Film Days 2016 – Grand Prix; Pula Film Festival 2016 – Vedran Šamanović Award; Liburnia Film Festival 2016 – Best Film; World Literature Festival; KaLibar Zadar, festival of quality and literature; Split Film Festival; Dok.Leipzig – international competition; Festival La Cabina, Spain – Best Documentary Film; Festival dei popoli, Florence – Best Medium-length Documentary; BelDocs – Biography Dox section; Krakow Film Festival 2017 – Best Documentary Film.
