Factum’s Dox in School continues its journey through Croatian secondary schools this autumn as part of the Backpack (Full) of Culture programme. The programme combines a screening of the documentary Children of Transition with a discussion and workshop focusing on film language, media literacy and reflection on the themes raised by the film.
This autumn, we visited Mate Blažina Secondary School in Labin, Delnice Secondary School, the Jesuit Classical Gymnasium with Public Rights in Osijek, and the School of Art, Design, Graphics and Clothing in Zabok. As always, the most important part of these encounters were the conversations with students – their questions, comments and different perspectives and interpretations of the film.
And the journey is not over yet: before the end of this year’s cycle, we will also visit the Fran Galović Gymnasium in Koprivnica, Čakovec Technical School, and Antun Matijašević Karamaneo Secondary School in Vis.
