After Medfilm in Rome, Igor Bezinović’s successful documentary film produced by Factum and Restart will be presented at two important regional festivals – 14th Mediterranean Film Festival in Široki Brijeg and 6th Cinema City in Novi Sad.
After it competed at MedFilm Festival in Rome late in June, the award-winning documentary Blockade by Igor Bezinović continues to tour the festival circuit. The film was produced by Factum and Restart was included in the programmes of two important regional festivals. At the Mediterranean Film Festival, taking place 26-31 August in Široki Brijeg, Blockade will be shown in official competition selection, and at the 6th International Film Festival Cinema City in Novi Sad (26 August – 1 September) it is included in one of the side programmes.
Blockade is portrayal of the largest, longest and politically most significant student protest in these areas, the blockade of Zagreb’s Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences that took place in April and May 2009. So far it has been presented at 19 Croatian and foreign festivals.
