A poetical and moving documentary that depicts the dramatic fate of a part of Italian minority in Istria through the prism of one man's fate.
A film about the life of Italian minority in former Yugoslavia, told through the story of Završje (Piemonte), an almost completely abandoned and ruined town in Istria. Gigi was among the rare ones who stayed in the town when Tito`s Yugoslavia demanded that the Italian minority choose between their two homelands. Today, some 50 years later, he is still the only "citizen" of the abandoned town.
The film was made as part of the documentary film workshop of the Grožnjan Imaginary Academy.
